GARY VADIM DUBROVSKY
Partner / Family law

Gary is a partner and family law attorney at Dubrovsky Law focused on complex property and child custody litigation. Since 2019, he has been named to the Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers list, a title granted annually to the top 5% of California attorneys. He is a member of the California Bar Association, San Francisco Bar Association, and San Francisco Trial Lawyer’s Association. He is also a member of the Alameda, San Mateo, and Contra Costa county bar associations. Gary has served as a Mentor/Supervising Attorney for law school clinics, and was previously named one of the top 15% pro bono attorneys in San Francisco. Gary has been recognized for his work as “attorney of the day” for various family law courts, where he provides pro bono assistance to self-represented litigants. Gary is fluent in both Russian and English and provides his services in either language, as necessary.

Gary earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco with a Certificate of Specialization in Public Interest Law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from the University of San Francisco after attending Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah. In his free time, Gary can be seen traveling in his 31-foot Airstream with his wife (below) and two kids or racing his Corvette at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca.

JENNIFER SMYTHE
Partner / Immigration

Jennifer is a partner and immigration attorney at Dubrovsky Law focused on U.S. employment and family-based immigration, including temporary nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence (green cards), and U.S. citizenship/naturalization. She is a member of the California Bar Association, the Northern District of California, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). In addition, Jennifer is a published author of two immigration articles, one of which led to receipt of the national Burton Award for Legal Achievement at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. Her articles have appeared in San Francisco Attorney Magazine, the University of Chicago School of Law’s Children’s Legal Rights Journal and Interpreter Releases, in addition to online publications. Jennifer is routinely invited to speak at universities, business associations and language schools about immigration options.

Jennifer earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco with a Certificate of Specialization in Public Interest Law. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Cultural Anthropology and a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In her free time, Jennifer can be seen traveling in her 31-foot Airstream with her husband (above) and two kids, walking, biking, meditating or attending kid activities.

ROSIE REITH
ASSOCIATE FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY

Rosie is an associate family law attorney at Dubrovsky Law. She represents clients in divorce, parentage, custody, and support litigation. She is a member of the California Bar Association and San Francisco Bar Association. She is also a member of the Alameda, San Mateo, and Contra Costa county bar associations. Prior to joining Dubrovsky Law, Rosie’s practice focused on insurance defense litigation, where she represented insurers, individuals and companies in cases ranging from mass torts to commercial litigation. Rosie brings the wealth of experience she gained as a civil trial attorney to her family law practice.

Rosie earned her J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law in her native San Francisco and her Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. While in law school, she served on the editorial board of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal, and acted as a volunteer mediator with the Civil Justice Clinic, as well a peer tutor with the Legal Educational Opportunity Program. In her free time, Rosie enjoys getting outdoors with her daughter.

ALEC BENDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Alec is an administrative assistant at Dubrovsky Law. She joined our firm in 2016, following a move from San Diego to the Bay Area in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations at San Francisco State University (SFSU). When she’s not poring over financial documents and discovery or preparing pleadings for filing with the court, she can be found climbing around the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range, visiting breweries, or snuggling her cat, Maui.
